Flexible couplings are designed to accommodate misalignment, which can be radial, axial or angular, that occurs when an solid shaft encoder is coupled to an external machine or element.
At Hohner Automation we have different varieties to suit your needs. You will be able to find rigid and flexible couplings, depending on whether or not there are misalignments between axes. The couplings are made of resistant materials such as steel, aluminium, plastic, polyamide and fiberglass. The fixing of the couplings on the encoder shaft is by means of a stud bolt.
